Welcome to new principal Mr. Dustin Gray!

Dustin_GrayMr. Gray has been in the Education field for 14 years.  His passion for education stems from his love for math and science; following a path or inquiry, discovery and explanation.

Prior to receiving his Masters of Administration and Supervision from The University of New Hampshire in 2005, his undergraduate work began in Environmental and Biomedical Engineering before attaining his Bachelor of Science Degree at Greensboro College.   Before being a Principal, Mr. Gray taught fourth grade general curriculum  in Virginia and sixth grade math and science in New Hampshire. For the last 10 years he has been an Assistant Principal  of one school and Principal of two separate elementary school in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts.  His experience in working within five different educational communities thus far has given him the necessary tools to work with the Page School Innovation Plan.

Having a decade in Administration, Mr. Gray has sat on and chaired a variety of district level and state committees.  Past experiences in District Technology Vision, Math Curriculum Adoption, Standards Based Report Card Design, Building Renovation/ Future Needs, Student Wellness, UNH Cooperative Intern Program and Formative Assessment have all helped shape both big picture visions and individual student-based decisions.  He currently sits on the Massachusetts State Department of Education MPAKS advisory committee which oversees Common Core Assessments that are not easily measured through MCAS or PARCC.

Mr. Gray believes that all children can succeed at their passions and at their own rate.  Establishing a connection between curriculum and real world problems and instilling a passion for creativity and perseverance are key elements in a child’s success. This process happens hand in hand with the parents and all staff members in the school.  Teamwork and communication are the foundations for ensuring that all children’s needs are met.

He enjoys building projects, both big and small, and a variety of outdoor activities that can incorporate spending time with his three children and his wife.
