Halloween Happenings at the Page School

The WNPTO is excited to present a week full of Halloween events for the students (PK-6) of the Page School and their families.

In-school Door Decorating Contest
Students and their teacher will work together to create a Spooktacular Halloween Classroom door display based on a literary story or character.

The top 3 doors in the following categories will win a prize

  1. Best interpretation of a book/character
  2. Best show of class participation
  3. Most wickedly funny

The pK-2nd grade students can’t wait to see your creations during the Halloween Parade!

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 27 – 6:30-8:00 pm
Fall into a Good Book Night
Students (in your PJ’s if you choose) and their families please join us at the Page School for a night of storytelling and book exchanging. When you arrive, head to the school cafeteria with an old book (in good shape) you have outgrown and wish to pass along to someone else. Then head upstairs to 1 of 4 classrooms where a ‘mystery reader’ will be reading. When the storytelling is done, head back to the cafe and pick out a new-to-you book to enjoy!

Jack O’Lantern Contest
It’s our first ever Page School Jack O’Lantern contest! Carve, paint, bedazzle, scrape and/or craft your pumpkin with help at home and bring it into school on Friday morning. Parent volunteers will meet you in the cafeteria before school and set your bewitching creation on the stage where students and staff will have a chance to vote for their favorite during lunch. (battery operated tea lights only please)Each grade will have a winner and be awarded a prize at the end of the day.You may collect your pumpkin at the end of the day and bring it home or leave it in the cafeteria for….

WNPTO 1st Annual Halloween Party
Get your costumes on and come on over to the Page cafeteria and gymnasium and join us for a haunting good time! We’ll have music, games and of course, a best costume contest! We ask that families donate a food or beverage or pay a $5 admission fee (it’s up to you.)
